The Peer Employment Mentoring Program through the support of @ONTrillium will be hosting the In Living Colour Art Therapy Group Session for persons with disabilities on July 23rd from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. It will be a wonderful afternoon as participants connect with the different parts of themselves through visual art and mindfulness techniques.
The Group Session will teach them ways to befriend these different parts of themselves while building skills that can help convert negative energy into positive habits. Participants will also discover how to connect with one’s self in a nurturing and caring way, becoming more skilled at moving past inner judgement. To register please visit:

Manulife Empowering Women to Employment Program
JobStart is excited to introduce the new Manulife Empowering Women to Employment Program, an integrated, 2-week employment preparation program. Designed for newcomer refugee and immigrant women who are skilled but remain unemployed, participants will learn to put their goals into action, target their resume and job search to the job they want, learn about Canadian workplace culture, manage job search stress, and connect and network with employers!
Eligibility:
* Currently unemployed or under-employed, and not attending school
* Able to commit to completing the full duration of the 2-week program
* Identify as a woman, born outside of Canada (PR, Citizen, Refugee Claimant, Migrant worker – all welcome)
Workshop Dates: April 29th – May 10th 2019.
