Keynote Speaker

Katerina Zhukova, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, Manulife

Katerina has a Degree in Psychology from the Northeastern State University in Russia. She has a certificate in Leadership and Coaching from Cornell University and is also a Birkman Method Certified Consultant, proficient in psychometrics assessment tools for leadership development and coaching. Katerina is currently completing her Human Resources Professional Certificate at the University of Toronto.

Prior to Manulife, Katerina has worked in a variety of roles within Talent Acquisition and Talent Management mainly for companies within the engineering and mining industries. Recruiting since about 2005, Katerina has had the fortunate opportunity to work as an expatriate across 8 different countries including US, Mauritania, Ghana, Russia, Brazil, Equador, Canary Islands and Canada. Katerina has worked at Manulife for approximately 3 years. She was hired as a Finance Recruiter and quickly moved to the Actuarial, Advanced Analytics and Risk  Management portfolios due to increased internal demand. 

Katerina is a fountain of knowledge, when speaking with her you about the work she does in Talent Acquisition, you will immediately feel her passion. Her education, global work experience, passion for her candidates and her drive to always be learning  have all contributed to the talented member of our team that we all have come to appreciate today. Katerina is a bit of a science buff and thoroughly enjoys reading articles about inventions and new technologies. This love for learning compliments her professionally as listening and understanding how the contribution of predictive projects that the analytics team may be working on not only impacts the organization but also enables her to be a better partner to the business.

 In 2016 Katerina received one of the most prestigious individual awards in North America for Talent Acquisition Professionals – Star of Excellence from Brandon Hall Group, world-class research group in Human Resources field.
